03 January 2017, New York City – Versatile Filipino Artist Del Avila Bermudez II opened his first one-man exhibit at the Lobby-Gallery of the Philippine Center in New York. Del, an architecture graduate of St. Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines, was a former member of the Bayanihan National Folkloric Dance Troupe where he was a performer and costume designer. His previous artistic output designing Philippine handicrafts in Baguio coupled with costume design work paved the way for his new avocation – painting.
