29 August 2012, New York – Various Filipino-American Community associations from the Bicol Region, Bicol clergy spearheaded by Fr. Roy Rogaspi, classmates and friends of the late DILG Secretary Jesse M. Robredo held a memorial mass in his memory on 25 August 2012 at the Our Lady of Victories Church in Jersey City, New Jersey.

28 August 2012, New York – The first Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Legal Clinic conducted by the Filipino-American Legal Defense and Education Fund (FALDEF) and NaFFAA with the support of the Philippine Consulate General in New York took place on 24 August 2012 at the Kalayaan Annex of the Philippine Center, New York.
