2018 Foreign Service Officers Examinations

Post is now accepting applications for the 2018 Foreign Service Officers Examinations, which will be held on 28 January 2018.
The deadline for submission is on 01 December 2017. An application fee of Php500.00(or US$10.03 - subject to exchange rate adjustment) is required. Post advises all those interested to visit the link for more information.

3 December 2012, New York – Twenty-seven (27) Filipino-American Community Organizations together with the Philippine Consulate General in New York and the Philippine Center-NY commenced the revival of the “Panunuluyan” on 6 December 2012. The Panunuluyan is a Christmas folk tradition staged in many towns, cities, and provinces in the Philippines.

Consul General Mario De Leon, Jr. joined and supported the Philippine delegation at the Kosherfest 2012 held at the Meadowland Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey on 13-14 November 2012.

In his remarks on the occasion of the signing ceremony between the Wage and Hour Division (WHD) of the US Department of Labor and the Philippine Consulate General in New York on 14 November 2012, Consul General Mario L. De Leon emphasized increased protection for Filipino workers through cooperation with the WHD-Department of Labor to inform Filipino workers of their rights.

05 November 2012, New York – A few days after Hurricane Sandy hit the US East Coast Filipino-Americans gathered at thanksgiving masses last weekend for the Canonization of St. Pedro Calungsod, the second Philippine saint.
