Welcome to the Philippine Consulate General, New York

Consul General Mario De Leon, Jr. and Ms. Judy Arteche-Carr of the New York-based Philippine BPO-IT Council co-hosted a Business Networking Reception at the Consul General’s official residence on 16 January 2013.  The event, attended by about forty (40) executives from financial, health, technology and consultancy firms, jumpstarted this year’s joint efforts of the Philippine Consulate General and the Philippine BPO-IT Council to increase awareness of US companies on global sourcing opportunities in the Philippines. EXL Service, a transformation and outsourcing services company with operations in the US, Philippines and other countries, co-sponsored the event.

Consul General Mario De Leon, Jr. and Consul Zaldy Patron met with the leaders of Filipino American community in Massachusetts and New Hampshire on 14 January 2013 during their travel in Boston City. Consul General De Leon discussed with them the plans and programs of the Consulate General for the New England States in 2013.

07 Jan 2012, New York – The Handang Tumulong Foundation, Inc. (HTFI), a 501 c (3) charitable organization in cooperation with three Flipino-American choral groups - the Filharmonix Choir, the Bayanihan Singers, and the Kayumanggi Chorale – held a special charity concert entitled "Tatlong Koro:Pablo Relief Concert" on January 4, 2013 at the Philippine Center New York.
