01 November 2012, New York – The Bayanihan National Dance Company of the Philippines hurdled many challenges posed by  Hurricane Sandy  which hit the US East Coast to make it to New York for a special one-night only performance at the Allen Room of the Jazz at Lincoln Center.

The Foreign Service Institute (FSI) of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations of Seton Hall University (SHU) have agreed to pursue cooperation that will help strengthen their respective institutions.

New York – In a simple ceremony held at Hogan’s Diner in Orangetown, NY last 19 September, Consul General Mario De Leon, Jr. handed Philippine World War II medal, badge and certificates to the family of the late Pfc. Dennis Hogan, a member of the US Army who was killed in action on 22 April 1945 in Luzon during the war.
