IMPORTANT AMENDMENTS TO PH TRAVEL AND QUARANTINE RESTRICTIONS

The Philippine Consulate General in New York wishes to inform the public of the following important amendments relating to Philippine travel and quarantine restrictions that seek to address the public health threats posed by the Covid-19 variants:

  1. FOREIGN PASSENGERS will CONTINUE TO BE PROHIBITED from entering the Philippines until 31 January 2021 if they are coming from the countries/territories covered by the entry restrictions relating to the Covid-19 variants, including the UNITED STATES, or have been to any or more of these countries within 14 days prior to their arrival.
  2. FILIPINO CITIZENS, including dual citizens, may enter the Philippines. They shall be tested upon arrival and shall be quarantined until the result of a subsequent test administered on the fifth day is released. After which said person who yield a negative result from Covid-19 tests shall be endorsed to their local government units of destination who shall then strictly monitor the remainder of the 14-day quarantine through their respective Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams.
  3. FOREIGN SPOUSES AND MINOR CHILDREN of Filipino citizens travelling together with the Filipino may enter the Philippines provided they are holding valid entry visas (new or existing), and subject to the same testing and quarantine protocols applicable to Filipino citizens in paragraph 2 above.
