The Philippine Consulate General in New York would like to inform registered overseas voters who requested to pick up their ballots or have these mailed to their new addresses, that their ballots may have been mailed out already.<\/p>

Those who recently moved can request the\u00a0United States Postal Service (USPS) for automatic forwarding of all mails from their old address to their new address.\u00a0 Please check with USPS on this matter.\u00a0 If no mail forwarding has been availed of, the Consulate shall endeavor to look out for and hold the ballot so it will not be delivered to the old address.<\/p>

It should be noted that the Consulate only received the ballots from the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) on 11 April 2022 and is doing its best to mail these to all the 39,048 registered voters under its jurisdiction to ensure that they get to exercise their right to vote.<\/p>
