The new online portal with\npre-payment is being introduced by the Consulate to deter no-shows and ensure a\nmore efficient allocation of appointment slots.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\">&nbsp;Prospective clients will be required to make a\npayment through the online payment portal as part of the process of scheduling\ntheir appointments, thereby ensuring their commitment to the appointment they\nare setting.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\">Consul General Senen Mangalile\nexpressed his enthusiasm for the launch of the e-payment services. \u201cThis\ne-payment system is in response to the feedback we received from our\napplicants, who for the longest time have been asking us to provide a system\nthat would accept other payment options aside from cash or money order,\u201d he\nsaid. &#8220;We heard you and we have been working hard to respond to your\nclamor, and we are now ready to offer you this cashless facility,\u201d the Consul\nGeneral added.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\">All fees paid through the\ne-payment system are non-refundable. Fees paid shall be forfeited for\napplicants who fail to show up for their confirmed appointment, applicants who\ncancel their appointment, applicants whose application was rejected due to\ninconsistency, incorrect and\/or incomplete information, and applicants who\npresent discrepant, spurious, and\/or lacking core documents.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\">A Frequently Asked Questions page\non the Consulate&#8217;s website was created to address questions applicants may have\nabout the new system.
