NEW YORK, 06 November 2024 <\/strong>\u2014 A 20-member delegation from the Chamber of Real Estate & Builders\u2019 Associations, Inc. (CREBA) paid a courtesy call on Consul General Senen T. Mangalile at the Philippine Center in New York on 04 November. The delegation, led by Mr. Alejandro S. Ma\u00f1alac, Vice President for International Affairs of CREBA, is in New York to participate in the Global Real Estate Summit.<\/span><\/p>

During the courtesy call, Mr. Ma\u00f1alac introduced CREBA as a prominent umbrella organization representing approximately 4,000 Filipino firms, individuals, and associations involved in the land and housing sectors, construction, allied industries, and various professional disciplines. Their membership spans a wide array of professionals, including land developers, housing subdivision and condominium builders, industrial estate and hotel developers, urban planners, architects, engineers, and real estate management experts.<\/span><\/p>

The delegation shared their agenda for attending the Global Real Estate Summit and their upcoming participation in the “NAR NXT, The REALTOR\u00ae Experience,” organized by the National Association of REALTORS\u00ae, which will take place from 8-10 November in Boston. This event is expected to provide them with valuable insights into the latest trends in real estate technology, eco-friendly practices, and marketing strategies.<\/span><\/p>

CREBA also emphasized its commitment to supporting the real estate industry through initiatives such as Bayanihan.com, an online platform designed to connect Filipinos worldwide with cultural events and festivals. Additionally, the group highlighted their ongoing efforts to provide continuing education through the Executive Diploma Program in Real Estate Management (EDPREM), in collaboration with De La Salle\u2013College of Saint Benilde, which equips real estate professionals with the latest industry practices and developments.<\/span><\/p>

Consul General Mangalile reiterated the Consulate\u2019s commitment to positioning the Philippines as a premier investment destination. He expressed optimism about future partnerships and collaborations with CREBA, particularly in organizing events that will equip the Filipino-American community in the US Northeast with the knowledge and tools to invest in the Philippines.
