(Photo by Nikka Arenal)<\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dcd6cfb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dcd6cfb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\"><strong>NEW YORK, 27 May 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The Philippine Consulate General in New York and Sentro Rizal New York received children\u2019s books and learning materials from Mr. Segundo Matias, President and General Manager of Lampara Publishing House Inc., a Manila-based publisher known for its educational content for young readers.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">The extensive collection of fully illustrated children\u2019s books and work activity books are published in English and Filipino, and geared towards child development and values formation.\u00a0 These educational tools aim to develop basic language skills, promote critical thinking, stimulate creativity, and instill positive values among children.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Lampara Publishing House is renowned for its commitment to producing children\u2019s books and educational resources that promote early academic learning, creativity, and character development.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">The materials will be utilized by the Association of Fil-Am Teachers of America (AFTA) during the 27th <em>Paaralan sa Konsulado<\/em> (PSK) in July 2025, a flagship summer initiative of the Consulate that nurtures Filipino heritage and education among the youth.
