NEW YORK CITY, 12 June 2026<\/b> \u2014 Sixteen (16) iconic landmarks across New York State were vibrantly\u00a0 illuminated with the colors of the Philippine flag on 12 June to commemorate the 128th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

  • Kosciuszko Bridge<\/span><\/li>
  • H. Carl McCall SUNY Building<\/span><\/li>
  • State Education Building<\/span><\/li>
  • Alfred E. Smith State Office Building<\/span><\/li>
  • Empire State Plaza<\/span><\/li>
  • State Fairgrounds \u2013 Main Gate & Expo Center<\/span><\/li>
  • Niagara Falls<\/span><\/li>
  • The \u201cFranklin D. Roosevelt\u201d Mid-Hudson Bridge<\/span><\/li>
  • Grand Central Terminal – Pershing Square Viaduct<\/span><\/li>
  • Albany International Airport Gateway<\/span><\/li>
  • MTA LIRR – East End Gateway at Penn Station<\/span><\/li>
  • Fairport Lift Bridge over the Erie Canal \u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  • Moynihan Train Hall<\/span><\/li>
  • Roosevelt Island Lighthouse<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    The illumination was made possible through coordination by the Philippine Consulate General in New York with the Office of New York State Governor Kathy Hochul and the Niagara Parks Illumination Board.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
