BRISTOL, CONNECTICUT, 16 August 2026<\/strong> \u2014 The Philippine Consulate General in New York successfully conducted a two-day Consular Outreach Mission on 15\u201316 August 2026 at the St. Gregory the Great Parish Hall in Bristol, Connecticut, bringing essential consular services closer to Filipinos residing in Connecticut and other New England states.<\/span><\/p>

A nine-member team from the Consulate General, with the support of the Pilipino Association of Connecticut, Inc. (PACI), provided passport, dual citizenship, notarial, overseas voting registration, Social Security System, and other consular services during the outreach.<\/span><\/p>

Over the two-day mission, the Consulate rendered a total of 249 services, consisting of 58 passport applications, 33 dual citizenship applications and oath-taking services, 31 notarial services, 47 overseas voting registrations, 53 Social Security System transactions, and 27 consultations on other consular services.<\/span><\/p>

The outreach drew clients not only from Connecticut but also from Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire, highlighting the continuing demand for accessible mobile consular services across New England and reducing the need for applicants to travel long distances to New York City.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Beyond the delivery of consular services, the outreach provided an opportunity for the Consulate to engage directly with members of the Filipino community, respond to their concerns, and further strengthen its partnership with Filipino organizations and community leaders in New England.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Consulate expressed its appreciation to PACI for its invaluable support in coordinating with applicants and assisting with venue arrangements, meals, logistics, and other on-site requirements. Its close cooperation contributed significantly to the orderly and efficient conduct of the mission.<\/span><\/p>

The outreach forms part of the Consulate General\u2019s continuing efforts to bring Philippine government services closer to Filipinos throughout its jurisdiction and to strengthen engagement with Filipino communities across the northeastern United States.
