\"250px-Commission<\/p>\n

The COMELEC Resolutions on the Guidelines for Accreditation in Connection with the Conduct of Overseas Voting under the Republic Act No. 9189, otherwise known as “The Overseas Absentee Voting Act of 2003” as amended by Republic Act No. 10590 for Purposes of the May 13 2019 National and Local Elections may be viewed by clicking the following links:<\/p>\n

1. COMELEC Resoultion no. 10498 : Guidelines for Mass Media accreditation<\/a><\/p>\n

General Requirements:<\/p>\n

1. Duly accomplished Accreditation Application Form<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Two (2) recently taken 2×2 colored photographs<\/p>\n

3. An endorsement from the newspaper, television, radio station, or internet news agency employing the applicant<\/p>\n

Accredited members of the mass media shall be issued Media Cards duly signed by the Head of Post, to be distributed on 08 April 2019 onwards. The Media Card shall be strictly non-transferable and shall be worn prominently whenever the media representative is covering or observing an electoral event. Any abuse thereof shall result in revocation of accreditation.<\/p>\n

2. COMELEC Resolution no. 10499 : Guidelines for Accreditation of Filipino Community (FilCom), Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), or Civil Society Organization (CSO)<\/a><\/p>\n

General Requirements:<\/p>\n

1. Duly accomplished Accreditation Application Form<\/a><\/p>\n

2. List of officers and members including their addresses and contact numbers<\/p>\n

3. Photocopies of valid IDs of officers and members<\/p>\n

Accredited FilComs, NGOs, and CSOs shall be issued Certificates of Accreditation and IDs duly signed by the Head of Post, to be distributed on 08 April 2019 onwards. Accreditation shall be strictly non-transferable. Any abuse thereof shall result in revocation of accreditation.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT:<\/p>\n

The period for filing applications for accreditation is from 15 February 2019 to 31 March 2019.<\/p>\n
