Advisory on the Tour Bus Crash in Upstate New York The Philippine Consulate General in New York is keeping in its thoughts and prayers all those impacted by the tragic bus crash on the New York State Thruway in Pembroke, New York on 22 August 2025.The Philippine Consulate is monitoring developments and remains ready to extend assistance to any Filipino national who may have been affected.Filipino citizens who have relatives possibly involved in the incident may reach the Philippine Consulate through its Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) Section emergency hotline at (917) 294-0196.

Advisory on Hurricane Erin - New Jersey Declares State of Emergency Filipinos in the state of New Jersey are informed that the state government of New Jersey has declared a State of Emergency (SOE), in anticipation of possible flooding due to Hurricane Erin. Hurricane Erin will not be making landfall in New Jersey; however, heavy rains and strong winds are expected to affect the entire state.Please make necessary precautions if you live in a flood-prone area and continue to monitor official sources of information on weather developments. We also remind everyone to keep local disaster and emergency preparedness hotlines on hand.
