11 October 2018, New York – The Philippine Consulate General in New York (PCGNY) welcomed to the Philippine Center yesterday Filipino Fashion Designer and milliner Tracy Dizon, who will be showing her Pinoy Pop Life Fashion collection for Spring Summer 2019 at no less than the prestigious New York Fashion Week. As the grand prize winner of the Rise Art & Design Fashion Design Competition in Fashion Week Brooklyn last Fall, Ms. Dizon featured a collection inspired by her trip to Vietnam. This time around, Ms. Dizon will be putting Filipino-inspired couture at the forefrontby featuring Filipiniana-inspired designs and indigenous fabrics.

Paul Basinillo, the Chief Creative Officer, and artists Dennis Crisostomo and Jim Jimenez, paid a courtesy call on Consul General Claro Cristobal on 03 October 2018 at the Philippine Center. During the visit, "Team Epik" presented the Consul General with some of its best-selling titles, likeRepublika, Bernardo Carpio, and Osyana.

NEW YORK, 8 August 2018 - The Philippine Consulate General in New York once again opened its doors for the third Consulate Saturday of the year last 4 August to provide consular services to the Filipino-American community.

NEW YORK, 10 September 2018-- Fifteen (15) Filipino World War II veterans were honored in a ceremony organized by the Philippine Consulate General headed by Consul General Claro S. Cristobal and the Filipino Veterans Recognition and Education Project (FilVetREP) led by General Antonio Taguba (ret.) held at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center on 8 September 2018.
