To allow more kababayan to take part in the 2022 presidential elections in the Philippines, the Philippine Consulate General in New York will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, 25 September 2021, to accommodate those who want to register as overseas voters.
There is no need to book an appointment in order to register.

For former natural born Filipinos who wish to retain or reacquire their Philippine citizenship in order to be eligible to register as an overseas voter, the Philippine Consulate General will also be conducting the oath taking ceremony of dual citizens on the same day.

Interested kababayan would need to email scanned copies of their requirements to newyorkpcg.dual@dfa.gov.ph on or before 11:59 p.m. of Monday, 20 September 2021, for pre-evaluation. If the documentation is in order, the applicant will be provided a timeslot for Saturday, 25 September 2021.
