CHANGE IN BALLOT FEEDING SCHEDULE FOR 21 APRIL
The Consulate General of the Philippines wishes to inform all approved and accredited poll watchers, media entities, and observers that due to the scheduled disinfection of the Philippine Center tomorrow at 6pm, we shall be moving the scheduled ballot feeding of 21 April to 1:00pm EST instead. This will still be conducted at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center in New York City.
Poll watchers are reminded that per COMELEC Resolution No. 10751, political parties are limited to only one (1) watcher per SBEI at any given time. As New York PCG has two SBEIs, Political Parties are entitled to two (2) accredited watchers at any given time.
All accredited poll watchers must present to the Chairperson of the SBEI their appointments and that they shall at all times bear the appropriate IDs signed by the duly authorized representative of the Political Party who appointed them.
As the Consulate is undergoing suspension of operations due to several staff being exposed to the COVID-19 virus, we strongly encourage you to instead witness the ballot feeding via our livestream on our FaceBook page. If you wish to be physically present, please present a negative result of a COVID rapid test taken prior to ascending to the Kalayaan Hall.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we endeavor to ensure everyone’s health and safety.
