OVERSEAS VOTERS URGED TO PERSONALLY
DROP OFF THEIR BALLOTS AT PCG NEW YORK
The Consulate General of the Philippines in New York strongly advises registered overseas voters who have just received their election packets to drop off their accomplished ballot envelopes personally at the Consulate to ensure that these will be included in the counting on Monday, 9 May 2022.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) does not deliver on weekends and any ballot envelopes mailed and received by them may be held over and delivered only on Monday morning, which would be beyond the 7 a.m. deadline for the Consulate to receive ballots for inclusion in the counting.
The Philippine Center will be open 24/7 for the purpose of receiving ballot envelopes for drop off. All ballot envelopes received after 7 a.m. on Monday, 9 May 2022, will no longer be counted.
