Following the declaration of a State of Emergency and travel ban by New York City Mayor Zohran K. Mamdani due to the ongoing blizzard conditions, the Philippine Consulate General in New York informs the public that it will be CLOSED on Monday, 23 February 2026.
Clients with confirmed appointments on that day may reschedule to any available date within thirty (30) days by sending an email to newyorkpcg.consular@dfa.gov.ph.
Unless conditions do not improve, regular consular services will resume on Tuesday, 24 February 2026.
The Consulate advises the Filipino community to continue monitoring official announcements from New York City and State authorities and to prioritize safety during this severe weather event.
