To celebrate Pasko 2020 and kick-off the annual Simbang Gabi sa Konsulado, the Philippine Consulate General in New York partners with The Filipino School of New York and New Jersey in holding the annual Parol-Making Workshop on 21 November 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am via Zoom.

The workshop aims to be a venue for Fil-Am families to remember and refresh the Philippine Christmas traditions through the making of handmade parol or lantern.

The Consulate can provide one parol kit per family, which may be picked up at the Consulate or mailed to the participants. Due to the limited supply of parol kits, registration is needed and will be on first-come, first-served basis.

The Zoom link will be emailed to the participants at least 2 days before the event.
