The Republic of the Philippines

Join us for a special one-time screening of GomBurZa, presented by the Philippine Consulate General in New York in partnership with the Film Development Council of the Philippines, Harvard Square Philippine American Alliance, Harvard University Asia Center, and Harvard Philippine Forum. In honor of Rizal Month, this acclaimed film recounts the story of Fathers Gomez, Burgos, and Zamora, whose martyrdom in 1872 ignited a movement for Philippine independence and inspired Dr. Jose Rizal.
