ADVISORY No. 17-2021 21 August 2021 PUBLIC ADVISORY: UPDATES ON HURRICANE HENRI The Philippine Consulate General in New York reiterates its urgent call for members of the Filipino Community in New York and New England to brace themselves for Hurricane Henri, which is expected to sweep through the area beginning this evening. Kababayan are urged to heed instructions from authorities, particularly in areas where a state of emergency has been declared such as parts of New York, including Long Island, New York City, and Hudson Valley, and Rhode Island, and where emergency preparations are underway such as Connecticut. Hurricane Henri is expected to bring damaging winds, three to six inches of rain with isolated totals of up to 10 inches and up to five feet of storm surges that could raise water levels near the coast and be accompanied by large and dangerous waves. ADVISORY No. 16-2021 20 August 2021 PUBLIC ADVISORY ON TROPICAL STOR HENRI The Philippine Consulate General advises members of the Filipino Community along the path of Tropical Storm Henri, especially those residents of New England and Long Island, to monitor the movement of the storm, undertake all necessary preparations, and heed the warnings of local officials as the storm is expected to bring heavy rains, strong winds and heavy surf, which could cause life-threatening flash floods. In addition, there is the danger of storm surge that could raise water levels near the coast and be accompanied by large and dangerous waves. Meteorologists warn that this is the most serious hurricane risk in New England in 30 years. According to the US National Hurricane Center (NHC), “Henri is forecast to intensify into a hurricane by Friday night with additional strengthening expected this weekend.” It has issued hurricane watches for a slew of areas ranging from the South Shore of Long Island, New York, to Massachusetts’s Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard and Block Island as well a tropical storm watches for some areas nearby the New York City metro area. ADVISORY No. 15-2021 30 July 2021 RELEASE OF PASSPORT AND OTHER DOCUMENTS In view of the increasing cases of Covid-19 and to protect and minimize the exposure of our kababayan and personnel, the Philippine Consulate General in New York will be releasing passports, visas, notarials, civil registration and other documents only by mail effective 1 August 2021. All applicants are required to bring self-addressed stamped USPS Priority Mail envelopes with tracking number on their scheduled appointment date at the Consulate General.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

ADVISORY No. 13-2021 6 July 2021 PUBLIC ADVISORY ON QUARANTINE TESTING FOR FULLY VACCINATED TRAVELERS FROM "GREEN" COUNTRIES With reference to Resolution No. 123-C, Series of 2021 dated 28 June 2021, of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases of the Republic of the Philippines, fully vaccinated travelers going to the Philippines, including those vaccinated in the Philippines regardless of travel history, and those vaccinated abroad who stayed exclusively in "green" countries/jurisdictions in the past fourteen days immediately preceding arrival, shall be governed by the following guidelines: "Green" countries/jurisdictions are those classified by the Department of Health as "Low Risk" countries/jurisdictions based on disease incidence rate. To view the list of green countries, read IATF Resolution No. 124-A dated 30 June 2021. Iceland is included in the list of green countries. Fully vaccinated travelers are persons who have had: A. More than or equal to 2 weeks after having received the second dose in a 2-dose series, or B. More than or equal to 2 weeks after having received a single-dose vaccine. ADVISORY No. 12-2021 7 May 2021 NEW QUARANTINE RULES FOR TRAVELERS TO THE PHILIPPINES Kababayan are advised that per Resolution No. 114 of the Interagency Task Force on Emerging and Infectious Diseases (IATF), dated 6 May 2021, all arriving travelers to the Philippines, regardless of vaccination status, shall be bound by the following health protocols in all ports of entry: 1. 14-day quarantine upon arrival the first 10 days of which shall be observed in a quarantine facility, with the remainder to be completed under home quarantine in their respective local government units of destination;2. Conduct of Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) testing on the seventh day with Day 1 being the day of arrival. Notwithstanding a negative test result, the arriving traveler shall complete the facility-based quarantine period of ten days;3.
