Updated Postage Rates for Return Envelopes of Consular Documents The Philippine Consulate General in New York informs the public that the United States Postal Service (USPS) has updated the rates for Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelopes and Priority Mail Express Flat Rate Envelopes, effective 06 October 2024.The new rates are as follows:USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope: $10.45USPS Priority Mail Express Flat Rate Envelope: $32.00Clients submitting self-addressed USPS envelopes for consular transactions—such as passport applications, civil registry, and notarial services—are reminded to ensure their postage is sufficient under the new rates.Please note that the Consulate does not sell or provide postage. Clients must include the correct postage with their return envelopes to prevent delays or issues with their transactions.

Digital Overseas Voter's ID Now Available The Philippine Consulate General in New York announces that it has received Digital Overseas Voters' IDs from COMELEC for registered voters within its jurisdiction. To check if you are a registered overseas voter under the Consulate, please refer to the Certified List of Overseas Voters (as of 31 March 2024), which can be accessed by clicking the link https://tinyurl.com/nyclov or scanning the QR code. To request a copy of your digital overseas voter's ID, please email newyorkpcg.ov@dfa.gov.ph with the following details: Subject: Request for Digital OV ID Body: Include your FULL NAME and DATE OF BIRTH. Please note that no printed copies will be provided. Those who require a physical copy must download and print the file themselves. Thank you.

Extended Office Hours for Overseas Voter Registration The Philippine Consulate General in New York informs the public that its office hours will be extended during the final week of the Overseas Voter Registration period.From September 23 to 27, and on September 30 (the last day of registration), the Consulate will be open until 7:00 PM for voter registration.During this time, applicants may visit the Consulate to register as new overseas voters, transfer voter records, update address and contact information, or reactivate voting records.Applicants must bring the original and one photocopy of their valid Philippine passport and Green Card or Identification Certificate (for dual citizens). Registration forms are available at the Consulate or can be downloaded from tinyurl.com/ComelecOVF1. Appointment is not required.Please note that extended hours are strictly for voter registration only. Other services will be available during the Consulate’s standard operating hours.
