New York, 2 August – The 2018 Edition of the Philippine Consulate's Sinehan sa Summer opened on 1 August 2018 with the screening of the Indie film "Im Drunk I Love You" at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center.

30 July 2018, New York – On the 28th of July, 2018, 65 students of the 20th Paaralan sa Konsulado (PSK) completed their summer learning course with a colorful program featuring folk dances, choral recitation, singing of Filipino songs and the awarding of certificates and prizes. The culminating activity was held at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center in New York. PSK students concluded the five fun Saturdays of learning and discovering their Philippine identity and community.
NEW YORK, 21 July 2018 – The students of 20th Paaralan sa Konsulado (PSK), together with their volunteer teachers from the Association of Filipino Teachers in America (AFTA) and AFTA summer interns were the guests to a formal luncheon hosted by Consul General Claro S. Cristobal and Madam Marilou Cristobal, as part of the PSK's special feature class. The luncheon was a mockup Independence Day celebration, which the children attended in formal national dress.

18 July 2018, New York – Romance filled the air at the Philippine Consulate General in New York (PCGNY) as a lovely young couple, Rachelle Q. Mercado and Morris N. De Claro, recited their wedding vows and committed themselves to a life together as husband and wife.
16 July 2018, New York – The Philippine Consulate General in New York (PCGNY), together with some of its clients, recited the Loyalty Pledge of An Advocate of the Rights of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) during the flag-raising ceremony, which was held at the lobby of the Philippine Center on 16 July 2018, Monday.
