New York, 9 June 2019- The Filipino-American community in Passaic, New Jersey held their Annual Philippine Day Celebration highlighted by festivities and a food and cultural festival on 9 June 2019 at the Third Ward Park in Passaic.
06 June 2019, New York City –In an effort to provide the Filipino Community with updates on legal developments in the Philippines, the Philippine Consulate General in New York (PCGNY) hosted a well-attended Forum at the Philippine Center on 03 June. Atty. Melencio Sta. Maria Jr., who is Dean of the Far Eastern University Institute of Law, Professor of Law at Ateneo de Manila College of Law, a columnist for Manila Bulletin, and a broadcaster for TV5 and Radyo5, among his other concurrent occupations, served as PCGNY's distinguished resource person.
New York, 7 June 2019- The Philippine Consulate General in New York marked the successful conclusion of the Filipino Restaurant Week (FRW) 2019 with a closing event featuring kamayan, Filipino food, Tanduay cocktails, and Filipino music at Ugly Kitchen, one of the participating restaurants in Manhattan, on 30 June 2019.

20 May 2019, New York –Romance filled the air at the Philippine Consulate General in New York (PCGNY) as a lovely young couple,Kevin Dale G. Sardea, a physical therapist, and Lara Jane J. Gongob, a nurse, recited their wedding vows and committed themselves to a life together as husband and wife.

6 May 2019 – What better way to engage with the Filipino-American Community in the US Northeast Region than to appeal to the innate Pinoy exuberance towards basketball. The PHL Basketball Team, under the auspices of the Philippine Consulate General in New York (PCGNY) held its maiden PHL Basketball Clinic on 5 May 2019 at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Gym in Jersey City, New Jersey. Mr. Ryan A. Compendio, PCGNY's Records, Communications and Information Officer, served as one of the coaches.
