Art on Display: A Mermaid’s Dream by Filipino-American artist Rose Cameron

The Philippine Consulate General in New York is proud to showcase the artwork of Filipino-American artist Rose Cameron at the Philippine Center Lobby Gallery in celebration of Filipino American History Month.

Rose Cameron’s “A Mermaid’s Dream” draws from her personal journey of migration and the emotional connection between her roots in the Philippines and her life in the United States. In her artwork, she delves into themes of identity, cultural memory, and exploration through her imaginative underwater-inspired canvas.
