Knights of Rizal Connecticut Supports Education in Bulacan with New Two-Classroom Building

NEW YORK CITY, 16 July 2025 — Consul General Sir Senen T. Mangalile, KGOR, together with representatives of the Knights of Rizal Fairfield Chapter, Connecticut, turned over a newly constructed two-classroom building to Caingin Elementary School in Malolos City on 16 July 2025. The ceremony marked the successful completion of a community-driven project made possible by the Fairfield Chapter’s donation of building materials and the collective efforts of the learners’ parents, local community organizations, and barangay volunteers who contributed their time and labor.
In his remarks, Consul General Mangalile, a proud Bulaqueño, encouraged the students to excel in their studies and to nurture big dreams that would take them beyond the confines of their community. “Let the partnership between the Knights of Rizal and this community be your springboard as you reach for the stars and make the whole wide world your playground,” he said.
Representing the Fairfield Chapter, Sir Craig Marshall, KCR, and Sir Orville Dyer, KCR, expressed the Chapter’s commitment to sustaining its support for the school and the community.
Also present at the ceremony were Lady Vivian Migliorino and members of the Ladies for Rizal Fairfield Chapter, who donated umbrellas, raincoats, and whistles to over 300 students of Caingin Elementary School.
School Principal Analyn Caballero received the two-classroom building and donated items, accompanied by Department of Education City of Malolos Schools Division Superintendent Leilani Samson Cunanan, senior education officials, Parent-Teachers Association President Harold Lati, and Barangay Caingin officials.
The construction project was jointly overseen by Sir Eddie Manongsong, KGOR, Area Commander for Connecticut, and Sir Cesar Ongoco, KCR, Fairfield Chapter Commander. The Caingin Elementary School building is the latest among several school projects completed by the Knights of Rizal Connecticut across the Philippines. END
