(Photos through/by Earthcam and Boyet Loverita) At least 17 iconic landmarks across New York and Philadelphia were illuminated with the vibrant colors of the Philippine flag on 12 June to commemorate the 126th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence. Mangalile and Filipino Executive Council of Greater Philadelphia (FECGP) President Roman Ventura raise the Philippine flag at Philadelphia City Hall in commemoration of the 126th Anniversary of Philippine Independence Day The Philippine Consulate General in New York, led by Consul General Senen T. Mangalile, and the Filipino community of Philadelphia gathered at Philadelphia City Hall on 12 June for a flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the 126th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence. The Filipino Executive Council of Greater Philadelphia (FECGP) organized the event in collaboration with the Office of Mayor Cherelle L. Parker. Magaso)On 12 June, a special flag raising ceremony was held at the Philippine Center in New York to commemorate the 126th Anniversary of Philippine Independence under this year’s theme, “Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan.” The ceremony was participated in by the officers and staff of the Philippine Permanent Mission to the United Nations and the Philippine Consulate General in New York. Independence Day messages of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Secretary for Foreign Affairs Enrique A. Manalo were played. In his message, Philippine Ambassador Jose Manuel G.
