12 August 2019, New York– The Philippine Center New York's Kalayaan Hall was jam-packed on Thursday, 8 August 2019, turning the night into a standing room only event as more than 170 film-goers came for the screening of the 12 short films featured during the 2nd night of the Philippine Consulate General New York's Sinehan sa Summer 2019.
1 August 2019, New York – Sinehan sa Summer 2019 or the 8th Edition of Sinehan sa Summer kicked off with a 1961 multi-awarded film "Noli Me Tangere" produced by Antonio Riva and Directed by Gerardo de Leon on 1 August 2019 at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center. The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) facilitated the permission at no cost to screen the film.

31 July 2019, New York – The Philippine Consulate General in New York invites all young Filipino-American leaders under its jurisdiction ages 24-40 to submit their application for the 2019 Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO) Immersion program to be held on 23-29 November in the Philippines.
20 July 2019, New York – The Paaralan sa Konsulado (PSK) continued its learning activities for around 40 students and, for part of some sessions, for the parents as well, as the first ever Post Arrival Orientation Seminar (PAOS) was held during Day 3 of the PSK aimed at establishing support mechanisms for newly arrived Filipino school children to help in navigating the American school system.
