New York, 14-15 July 2018 – Six Philippine films showcasing the immense talent of Filipino film makers and artists headlined the 17th New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) held at New York's Lincoln Center and the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, New York from 29 June to 15 July 2018.

18 July 2018, New York – Romance filled the air at the Philippine Consulate General in New York (PCGNY) as a lovely young couple, Rachelle Q. Mercado and Morris N. De Claro, recited their wedding vows and committed themselves to a life together as husband and wife.

16 July 2018, New York – The Philippine Consulate General in New York (PCGNY), together with some of its clients, recited the Loyalty Pledge of An Advocate of the Rights of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) during the flag-raising ceremony, which was held at the lobby of the Philippine Center on 16 July 2018, Monday.

NEW YORK, 5 July 2018 – On his second day on the job, Consul General Claro S. Cristobal met with the Filipino-American members of the media at a Press Hour hosted by the Philippine Consulate General in New York (PCGNY) at the Philippine Center last 3 July.

NEW YORK, 2 July 2018 – The 20th Paaralan Sa Konsulado (PSK) was launched 30 June at the Philippine Center with 58 excited students. Teachers, volunteers, parents, and organizing partners accompanied the enrollees during the morning's program, and throughout the day.

NEW YORK, 30 June 2018 – The Philippine Consulate General, together with partners Department of Tourism New York, Philippine Airlines, Tanduay Rum, and GMA TV capped the successful 4th year of the Filipino Restaurant Week with an awarding event for the social media campaign winners. The event was held at the Philippine Center last 29 June.

1 July 2018- Building on its initial success with its sports diplomacy program, the Philippine Consulate's PHL Basketball Team participated in the Jersey City Athletic Association (JCAA) 2018 Spring Basketball League in Jersey City, New Jersey from April 22, 2018 – July 1 2018.

30 June 2018 - As part of its ongoing effort to engage with the Filipino-American community in the US Northeast Region through sports, the Philippine Consulate General in New York played in the 2018 Dolphy Cup on 30 June 2018 in Manalapan, New Jersey.

24 June 2018, New York-- The Philippine Consulate General New York, led by Deputy Consul General Kerwin Orville C. Tate, joined more than 80 Filipino-American community organizations participating in the 28th Annual Grand Parade and Festival last 24 June 2018.
